She has also been working for WICKED all along as an undercover agent who is actually helping Thomas and his friends escape from the facility. However, when they get to the room where they’re supposed to have this procedure done on them, Thomas’s technician Brenda helps them escape instead. They have been told that they will be given memories in order to see how much their brains can handle. Thomas, Minho, and Newt are a part of the Glade experiment. They’re told by Assistant Director Janson (who is really Rat Man) that they will be given back their memories, as well as finding out which ones were immune to The Flare when it broke out. He takes Thomas to an auditorium where he finds some of his friends from before he was taken away for the trials. After several weeks, Rat Man comes in and tells Thomas that the Trials are over now, and that WICKED has all of the data they need.
